At Peter Mac we are committed to providing the best care, as close to home as possible. To support this, we are introducing telehealth as an option when suitable. Using telehealth, you can have an appointment with your Peter Mac specialist by video. You can do this from your home, with your local GP or at your local health service.
Peter Mac is committed to providing the best care, as close to home as possible. Through the use of telehealth you can now have a clinic appointment from the comfort of your home (or anywhere that suits) using your own computer, tablet, iPhone or iPad or with your local GP or other healthcare...
Sitting in his ute in country Australia, Kevin Seamer can talk face-to-face with his doctor at Peter Mac in Melbourne using telehealth.
You’ll need a reasonably up-to-date device (computer, iPad, tablet or smart phone) and internet with the Chrome browser or the Healthdirect App to take part in a Video Call. This could be in your home, with your local doctor or elsewhere.
Please do a test call when your appointment is booked and again on the day of your appointment. If it doesn’t work on the day, we may need to reschedule your appointment or run it by telephone.
If you can’t get Video Call to work, or need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us.
Telehealth is offered for all clinics within Peter Mac. Any patient can be offered telehealth if it is clinically suitable.
