At Peter Mac we are committed to providing the best care, as close to home as possible. To support this, we offer video consultations (telehealth) when suitable. You can have a video consultation at home, with your GP, Practice Nurse, Cancer Resource Nurse or at another local health service. Please click on the TEST CALL button any time to check you can do video calls with Peter Mac.
Telehealth (video consultation) is available in all clinics at Peter Mac Parkville, Bendigo, Box Hill, Moorabbin and Sunshine when suitable and approved by your clinician.
Telehealth can be for anyone. Ask your Peter Mac team about telehealth - your doctor, nurse or other clinician will confirm if telehealth is suitable before your appointment is booked.
You or your local doctor will need a reasonably up-to-date computer, iPad, tablet or smart phone and internet, with the Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge latest browser, (or Safari for iPhone or iPad).
Please do a test call when considering telehealth, and when your appointment is booked and again on the day of your appointment. If it doesn’t work on the day, we may need to reschedule your appointment or run it by telephone.
