Basil Samios has worked across the health sector in aged care, home care, community health and hospitals, as well as in the facility management and property services sector.
He headed up the Finance and Administration function of a Statutory Authority during a time of renewal for the organisation and contributed to its modernisation in systems and culture.
Basil has lectured at RMIT and Central Queensland University (Melbourne) in Finance, Audit, Marketing and Innovation, and has presented subjects for the Governance Institute of Australia.
He has served on the Board of a Community Health Service as Treasurer and Chair of the Audit Committee, and on the Corporate Governance Committee of a Community Bank.
