Peter Mac is uniquely positioned to deliver this ‘bench to bedside’ research through a multidisciplinary approach involving world leading cancer expertise and access to a range of novel therapeutics, pre-clinical models, clinical biospecimens and cutting-edge technologies.Our vision at Peter Mac is to accelerate translation research by fostering innovation, collaboration and application of new treatments and technologies in the detection and diagnosis of cancer leading to improved health outcomes for cancer patients. To achieve this vision, initiatives including the translational research centres will provide a fundamentally important translational interface between laboratory and clinical research and will be a key component to our partnerships with the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.
