CUP information for health professionals

We established Australia's first Cancer of Unknown Primary Clinic in February 2012

Medical oncologist Associate Professor Linda Mileshkin, who has a major interest in Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP), set up the clinic and now runs it with her team. The team arranges consultations with surgical and radiation oncology specialists as needed.

Our Service deals specifically with patients whose primary cannot be located. The clinic will specifically see CUP patients and systematically assess, treat, and refer for any appropriate clinical trials. Wherever possible, we will assess tumours to determine if any personalised therapies could be future treatment options.

The clinic is a collaboration with clinical partners, providing coordinated and comprehensive cancer care.

The CUP Clinic meet every Monday.
