Phase IV RCT study to assess the safety and efficacy of methoxyflurane (Penthrox™)

Methoxyflurane is a fluorinated ethyl methyl ether analgesic anaesthetic agent which has been administered via a handheld device, in prehospital ambulance transfers for patients in pain for many years. This placebo-controlled study aimed to assess analgesic efficacy in patients undergoing bone marrow biopsy and to assess the safety of use in this population
