Peter Mac has a wellbeing approach to care. We base this on a fundamental belief that the best cancer care treats the person and the disease

The Peter Mac Wellbeing Centre 

The Wellbeing Centre is a welcoming and quiet space for patients, carers and visitors that is removed from the hustle and bustle of the hospital. A visit to the Wellbeing Centre gives you a moment to breathe and simply find some quiet time. While there you can enjoy the support and wellbeing facilities such as:

  • Complimentary tea, coffee and light refreshments 
  • Comfortable seating 
  • Family room 
  • Quiet spaces 
  • Sleep pods and recliner chairs that help you relax 
  • Computers, iPads and charging stations 
  • Books 
  • Outdoor garden space.

The Wellbeing Centre is also headquarters for the delivery of many patient and carer Wellbeing programs such as:

  • peer support services
  • education seminars and workshops
  • assistance with HealthHub sign up
  • and events and celebrations.
