Pet therapy

We provide a free Pet Therapy Service in conjunction with Lort Smith Animal Hospital

Pet Therapy Program volunteers bring their good-natured and well-trained dogs to us. These dogs are then available for you to enjoy. Our volunteers visit the public areas of the hospital four days per week. This includes the wards and clinics at the Melbourne campus. Visiting dogs and their owners improves wellbeing. This includes the wellbeing of yourself, your family, and your care givers.
