In the constantly changing context of cancer care, healthcare professionals require relevant and evidence-based education to inform care and to develop expertise in the speciality. Using a face-to-face ‘speak with an expert’ model, the nursing short course program provides you with opportunities to build knowledge and skill in managing patients with cancer.
Registration and payment processing

Registration for short course programs will be available via the Learning Hub, our online booking and payment system, from mid January 2023
The Instructions for short course registration will assist you with the process.
When browsing courses, type Academic Nursing Unit into the Search bar to view nursing programs
Enrolment confirmation
Enrolment confirmation will be provided via email following Registration and Payment via the Learning Hub
Cancellation/Inability to attend
Please refer to the Learning Hub Refund policy under the User Info tab on the Learning Hub home page
If the training is cancelled or postponed by Peter Mac due to unforeseen circumstances, users will be given a re-schedule or cancel option. Under this circumstance, if the user chooses the cancel option, they will be given a full refund (including transaction costs)
Certificates
Upon successful completion of a post course evaluation, you will be able to access a Certificate of Completion from the relevant tab on the course page.
Venue
Face to face programs will be held in the Education Centre, Level 7, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, 305 Grattan Street, Melbourne unless otherwise specified.
Some programs will be offered as remote delivery
Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, programs may need to be changed to remote delivery at short notice
