Peter Mac Chief Executive Appointed

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Jason Payne as incoming Chief Executive.
Currently Chief Executive (Health Services) at Mercy Health Australia, Professor Payne will commence at Peter Mac in November 2023.
Professor Payne comes to Peter Mac with an impressive track record of leading large healthcare organisations, having also been Chief Operating Officer (Health Services) at Mercy Health, and Executive Director Clinical Operations and Ambulatory Services at Austin Health.
Board Chair Professor Maxine Morand AM describes the appointment as extremely positive for Peter Mac.
