Your Patient Navigator is an important member of your care team.

They work closely with you and your care team to make sure you receive the right care in the right place at the right time.

Patient Escalation Emergency Response (PEER)

Patients and carers at the Melbourne campus can use the PEER process for assistance.

If you are concerned about a change in your condition or that of someone else, please alert someone and ask for help using the following escalation steps:

Speak to your nurse or doctor and tell them about your concerns
If you are not happy with the first response, or you are still worried, ask to speak to the nurse in charge
if you are still worried, ring the 24/7 PEER helpline on 8559 8209 (or dial 98209 from your bedside phone)
