Your Patient Navigator contacts

Your Patient Navigator is an important member of your care team. 

They work closely with you and your care team to make sure you receive the right care in the right place at the right time.  

Please contact your Patient Navigator by phone or email if you need help with appointments in Peter Mac’s Specialist Clinics.

Patient Escalation Emergency Response (PEER)

Patients and carers at the Melbourne campus can use the PEER process for assistance. 

If you are concerned about a change in your condition or that of someone else, please alert someone and ask for help using the following escalation steps:

  1. Speak to your nurse or doctor and tell them about your concerns
  2. If you are not happy with the first response, or you are still worried, ask to speak to the nurse in charge
  3. if you are still worried, ring the 24/7 PEER helpline on 8559 8209 (or dial 98209 from your bedside phone)
