After completing post-doctoral training at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Li joined the Victorian Centre for Functional Genomics (VCFG) at Peter Mac, led by Professor Kaylene Simpson. His research focuses on using high-throughput screening and high-content imaging to gain biological insights and identify potential drug candidates. Dr. Li has been involved in various drug screening projects, including those related to blood, prostate, ovarian, and colorectal cancer. He also focuses on developing multi-omics capacities at VCFG and driving collaboration with external commercial partners.
