Ms Kirsty Rowan

Kirsty Rowan is a Senior Dietitian in the Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She has worked as a Dietitian for over 9 years and is an accredited practising dietitian experienced in cancer nutrition.

She has a special interest in the nutritional management of patients with upper gastrointestinal cancer. She works closely with the multidisciplinary team at Peter Mac and is passionate about improving the experience and quality of life of cancer patients through evidence-based nutrition advice and management.

Kirsty has extensive experience in students training and staff development, leading the university clinical placement program and student seminar days at Peter Mac. She continues to advance the area of nutrition management through her contribution to research and quality initiatives at Peter Mac.
