Biography
Jac Mathieson is the Chief Nursing Officer at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Jac has been an oncology nurse for 10 years and held a number of clinical and management positions. Prior to taking on the role of Chief Nurse Jac was the lead Project Manager for the design and implementation of the clinical operating model for Haematology, Medical Oncology and Clinical Trials between Peter Mac, Melbourne Health and The Royal Women’s Hospital as part of the hospitals move to Parkville.
Jac has a Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice and is an active member of The International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC) and the Chair of the Congress Committee for Cancer Nurses Society of Australia (CNSA). Her main areas of interest are workforce planning and model of care development.
