Biography
Dr Grenfell is a Radiation Oncologist, with particular clinical interest in breast, gastrointestinal, lung and urological malignancies, as well as benign conditions amenable to radiotherapy.
Dr Grenfell graduated from medical school at Flinders University of South Australia, and has also completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree. She completed her Radiation Oncology specialist training in Adelaide, working at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, Lyell McEwin Hospital and Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre in Darwin.
Dr Grenfell has been based in Bendigo since 2014 and took up the position of Director in 2016. In this role she serves on a number of committees established for providing high level multidisciplinary care to oncology patients. During her time she has introduced a number of advanced radiation treatment techniques including deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH) for breast cancer.
