Dr Sarat Chander

Prostate Cancer

Biography

Dr Sarat Chander initially trained as a Radiation Oncologist in India, before moving to New Zealand for further training and experience. Between 2003 and 2004Dr Chanderwent on to complete a Uro-oncology and Prostate Brachytherapy Fellowship Programwith the University of Toronto's Department of Radiation Oncology. In 2004, Dr Chander returned to join the Wellington Cancer Centre, New Zealand as a Consultant and is nowin the Bone and Soft Tissue Service team at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
