Dr Lynette Chee

Haematology, leukaemia, myelodysplasia, myeloproliferative disorders, stem cell transplants, infection

Biography

Dr Lynette Chee is a Clinical Haematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Physician proficient in the management of both benign and malignant haematological conditions.  She has a special interest in the treatment of leukaemia, myelodysplasia, myeloproliferative disorders and supportive care particularly in the area of infections in immunocompromised patients.  Dr Chee is also a translational researcher at the ACRF Translational Research Laboratory with a joint appointment at the University of Melbourne, undertaking myelodysplasia biomarker discovery research.  She is active in clinical trials and investigator-driven clinical projects with presentations at major national and international haematology conferences.  Dr Chee is also an Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group (ALLG) Acute Leukaemia/MDS Scientific Committee member and ALLG BMT Scientific Committee member.

Cancer Trials Australia Prize for Excellence for Specialist Certificate in Clinical Oncology (Research) (2014). ALLG Scholarship for Specialist Certificate in Clinical Research (Oncology) (2013). ASH Travel Award for ASH Conference (2010).
