Biography
Dr Jenny Lydon is the
Physics Site Manager at Sunshine Hospital Radiation Therapy Centre (SHRTC). She
qualified at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town and completed a PhD at the
University of Melbourne on Monte Carlo modelling of narrow photon fields. In
addition to small field dosimetry, she has a strong interest in service
development through the clinical implementation of new technologies. At SHRTC
these include volumetric modulated arc therapy, deep inspiration breath-hold for
breast radiotherapy, and stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy
