Biography
Fiona started at Peter Mac in 2017, and leads the Breast Radiation Oncology Research Programme as well as practising in the Breast, Lung and SABR service. Since completing her PhD in Medical Physics with Professor Paul Keall at the University of Sydney her research has focused on integrating biological and imaging information into radiotherapy, to develop new treatment strategies and to develop personalized, biologically driven approaches to radiotherapy treatment. Fiona is an active clinical trial investigator, chairing the Thoracic Oncology Group and serving as a Director on the board for TROG. She is a Peter Mac Clinician Researcher fellow, working with Sarah Everitt, a VCA fellow, to develop novel treatment pathways for breast cancer radiotherapy.
