Biography
Dr Claire Phillips is Deputy Director and NeuroOncology Lead for the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She is the lead clinician for the Victorian Gamma Knife Service at Peter Mac.
Claire is experienced in leading clinical trials in brain tumours and breast cancer. She established Australia’s first dedicated stereotactic radiotherapy service for choroidal melanoma in 2003.
Her study, titled the EYE study, aims to improve vision outcomes for choroidal melanoma patients and recently completed accrual. Other research interests include radiosurgery for brain metastases and short course treatment for high grade glioma.
