Biography
Dr Angela Webb is head of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Dr Webb also holds appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital and the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria. Dr Webb was the surgical co-ordinator of Australia’s first hand transplant at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. In addition to completing her Medical degree at Melbourne University and gaining a fellowship in plastic surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Webb completed a Masters of surgery at The University of Melbourne and a fellowship in plastic surgery in the United Kingdom. Dr Webb also won the D.R. Leslie Prize for Clinical Research, the Melville Hughes Scholarship for Surgical Research and the John Loewenthal Research Fellowship, and has continued to be involved in training medical students and future surgeons as well as clinical research. Dr Webb has a special interest in skin oncology and breast reconstruction surgery.
