Biography
A/Prof Stephanie Best is a Senior Research Lead: Implementation Science at Peter Mac in the Department of Health Services Research, a joint appointment with Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC). She is a senior research fellow at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI), Macquarie University, Sydney. A/Prof Best's most recent work has focused on the introduction and integration of clinical genomics and other evidence-based programmes and interventions into practice. Embedded within the Australian Genomics Health Alliance, Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, she led the implementation science research stream.
A/Prof Best's implementation projects have included a variety of interventions (for example, mixed methods, discrete choice experiments, systematic reviews, a range of innovative qualitative methodologies) in a range of settings (for example, acute paediatric care, anorectal malformations, expanded reproductive carrier screening).
