Associate Professor Lau underwent both radiology and nuclear medicine training in Melbourne. He has been a radiologist at Peter Mac since 2000. He is a clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology and a principle fellow in the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology at The University of Melbourne. His professional expertise is in cancer imaging, with particular interest in correlation between structural and functional imaging including PET/CT. Associate Professor Lau has more than 50 publications in the peer reviewed literature and two book chapters, with a focus on PET and radiology applications in oncology. He has given over 90 presentations at national and international meetings.
