Biography

Ben Tran is a medical oncologist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where he is the lead Genito-urinary (GU) medical oncologist and GU clinical trials lead.  Ben is also an Associate Professor within the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology at The University of Melbourne. He is a passionate clinician and researcher, with special interests in GU cancers, Early Drug Development and Real World Data. 

Ben’s experience and expertise in phase 1 clinical trials is well recognized globally and he is regularly involved in developing exciting new agents as they enter the clinic.  Ben chairs the Germ Cell Tumour Subcommittee within ANZUP and is internationally renowned for his testicular cancer research and expertise.  Ben also leads multiple national registries in GU cancers and is a major contributor to the understanding of the real world treatment landscape of GU cancers.
