Associate Professor Andy Dimech is the Chief Nursing Officer at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and is dual qualified in Intensive Care and Cancer Nurse. He has extensive experience in public and private hospitals in Australia, the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Peter Mac, Andy held senior leadership roles at the Royal Marsden hospital in London, including Acting Chief Nurse, Deputy Chief Nurse, Lead Cancer Nurse and Divisional Clinical Nurse Director.
Andy served as a Board Director on the Board of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care from 2016 to 2022. He is passionate about the patient experience and driving innovation in healthcare.
