Peter Mac together with Rachel Berger, one of Australia's most highly regarded comedic talents, have joined forces in a one-night only stand-up comedy show.
Come along and support a group of first-time, would-be comedians who have the opportunity to perform their routines to a live audience. They will include, patients, carers and staff who are currently part of the Peter Mac family and have developed their stories into a short comedy routine.
This intimate evening offers an opportunity for everyone to connect, to see our similarities and value our differences; to try, to falter and to succeed, to laugh and have others laugh with us!
Please arrive at 6.30pm for 7.00pm start.
We will have measures in place to ensure this is a COVID safe event, including:
- Masks - Everyone in the audience is asked to wear their mask for the entire show, also when arriving and leaving the event.
- Social distancing - Please follow any directions from our staff as you take your seat. You'll be asked to keep an empty seat between groups of family / friends.
- All visitors to Peter Mac pass through a COVID screening point, and check of their vaccine status, on their arrival in the building.
Note this event is also restricted to 18+ years as language and themes may not be suitable for children.
Proceeds will support the Wellbeing Centre – which is a supportive, patient-led sanctuary where Peter Mac patients and carers can access services such as oncology massage, art therapy, meditation and system navigation, as well as information, and emotional and physical support.
Peter Mac offers on-site parking with an evening rate of $12 from 6.00pm to 9.00pm. Access to the car park is from the left service lane on Flemington Road, when travelling towards the city.
