If you are helping someone with cancer, you are a carer; you might be a family member, friend or neighbour. The Carer Support Officer at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre can assist carers and provide information and access to appropriate support services.
Book an appointment with our Carer Support Officer for more information and advice on carer support services at Peter Mac and in the community. This service is available Tuesdays to Thursdays on 03 8559 6461 or email C[email protected].
What we do:
- Provide support for all carers
- Assist with accessing other services across Peter Mac along with external support services
- Carer’s Circle – A monthly peer support group for you to connect with other carers and share experiences of caring for someone with cancer in a safe and supportive space.
