Wellness and Life after Cancer (WALAC)
This free education and support program is for cancer survivors who have completed active treatment; it is also for carers, partners and family members. It can help you, and those around you, to develop practical strategies for managing life now and moving beyond recovery to wellness. WALAC is run in partnership with the Cancer Council Victoria.

As well as interactive sessions from health professionals you will have the opportunity to share with others going through a similar experience. Lunch and refreshments are provided.

Victorian Cancer Survivorship Program Community of Practice
The Victorian Cancer Survivorship Program (VCSP) is an initiative of the Department of Health and Human Services. The ACSC delivers the VCSP Community of Practice in partnership with the department.
The VCSP Community of Practice provides a forum for people who share a passion for cancer survivorship. Through regular events and an online collaborative workspace, the Community of Practice shares evidence-based resources and findings, and promotes partnerships to develop sustainable service design.

International Conference on Cancer Nursing 2016
ACSC attended the International conference on Cancer Nursing in 2016. ACSC provided a workshop on Transforming cancer survivorship care - an Australian experience. The presentation is available here. We also produced a companion resource sheet providing links to the reports and resources for the convenience of participants.
