BROCADE

BReast Origin CAncer tissue DonatEd after death, BROCADE, is a resource to support research into breast cancer.

In particular, BROCADE will develop models for use in research towards new and more effective treatments for breast cancer.

BROCADE is funded by the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The BROCADE project is managed by Lisa Devereux, based at the Peter Mac. The Human Research Ethics Committee at Peter Mac has reviewed and approved all the documents used to communicate with donors and gain their consent.

BROCADE is also operating in Brisbane through the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and in Perth at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
