The TTO manages many types of research contracts.
These include but are not limited to:
- Material Transfer Agreements
- Confidentiality Agreements
- Collaboration and Sponsored Research Agreements
Contract Research Agreements
Please note that we DO NOT deal with Clinical Trial Agreements or Grant Agreements, for these please refer to our grants team and clinical trial team as your first point-of-contact.
These agreements serve several purposes for the organisation, such as allocation of risk and liability. They are also important for individual researchers, as they ensure protection of your rights to publish freely, to maintain ownership of IP that you create, and to ensure, for example, that materials you create are not used commercially without your knowledge.
Contact the TTO if you need to send materials to collaborators, to engage in confidential discussions or to establish collaboration guidelines, and we can provide you with our standard agreements or draft a new agreement for specific needs.
Researchers are not permitted to sign any agreements on behalf of Peter Mac.
All research contracts that you receive must be reviewed by the TTO prior to execution. Only Authorised Representatives of Peter Mac are entitled to execute agreements. The TTO will organise for your contracts to be signed appropriately.
