Advanced image analysis

Recent advances in computer science have enabled several robust techniques that analyse imaging data. The aim of this study is to develop image processing and analytical methods that precisely predict tumour location and tumour characteristics in high resolution histopathology images and in co-registered functional imaging data. From this, we expect to be able to design non-uniform dose distributions to improve the accuracy of radiotherapy treatments for future patients
