The Peter Mac Men's Shed is offering members a free 3 day fly fishing retreat run by the organisation- Mending Casts.
The aim of the retreat is to help men in the cancer recovery process by introducing them to the therapeutic powers of fly fishing whilst providing a safe and supportive environment through which they can share their personal experiences of cancer with others.
This inaugural collaborative retreat will be the first sponsored Peter Mac Men's Shed event hosted by Mending Casts, specifically for male cancer patients who are members of the Peter Mac Men's Shed or those interested in joining.
There are limited positions available on this retreat so please submit a complete this expression of interest form, by 11.59pm Sunday 10th April 2022. We will contact successful applicants on with further information.

In 2021, one lucky Men’s Shed member secured a position on the Reel Recovery retreat in Omeo. We received exceptional feedback from our member who said the retreat restored his hope for the future and provided a gateway to a new hobby which he is now pursuing in his local community.
