Peter Mac Research is gaining two new star recruits this month. Prof Ben Hogan and A/Prof Belinda Parker will join the Peter Mac team, bringing with them their world-leading research into the way that cancers can spread and respond to different types of treatments.
Professor Joseph Sambrook transformed research at Peter Mac and set us on course to becoming a cancer centre of international standing. He was a renowned molecular biologist when he joined Peter Mac in 1994, and then became a pivotal figure in our history.
Researchers from Peter Mac have developed a brand new approach to treating some aggressive blood cancers. This new advancement comes on the back of more than fifteen years of dedicated work by researchers at Peter Mac in collaboration with scientists at the John Curtin School of Medical Research.
The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre acknowledges the traditional
