Peter Mac provides the world’s best cancer care for all people by ensuring patients remain at the centre of everything we do. We are focusing on improving and strengthening our partnerships with patients, carers, and advocacy groups to strengthen and improve our people centred outcomes. Together we can reduce health and social inequities across diverse, marginalized groups in Victorian and Australian communities.
Our draft action plans ensure we are actively listening and responding to the changing needs of the diverse communities which Peter Mac serves.
Peter Mac has drafted two action plans:
- Disability Action Plan – A draft Disability Action Plan provides a framework for Peter Mac to plan the elimination, as far as possible, of disability discrimination from the provision of its goods, services and facilities.
- Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan – The draft United Colours of Us, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan directs our efforts for impactful inclusivity to improve affirmative, health and wellbeing for our diverse communities through a relationship centred approach.

Peter Mac is hosting a Community Engagement Forum on Tuesday, 4 June 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The forum will allow for face to face discussion and feedback regarding the draft plans and will be followed by a light lunch.
