Throughout May, One and Many: The Sewing Project, involved more than 100 patients, volunteers and staff.

The group met to sew a banner made from donated head scarves from people who have had cancer. The banner celebrates their lives, their unique journeys and the diversity of their experiences with cancer.

The beautiful banner will be exhibited in the garden at the Wellbeing Centre.

A special thanks to everyone who joined the artist, Sally Richmond, in sewing at the Wellbeing Centre and to everyone who donated head scarfs for the project which is part of RMIT University's MAPS program.
