Peter Mac is proud to host the MD Anderson Cancer Center Global Academic Program (GAP) 2020 conference for the first time in Australia.
The Global Academic Program (GAP) conference is a forum where MD Anderson and its global network of hospitals, health systems and research institutions collaborate to develop impactful, innovative ideas and research to help us achieve the mission to end cancer globally.
This premier event will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from May 11-13, 2020.
Participants will be joining us from the Americas, Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australia.
The theme for the GAP 2020 conference is New Frontiers: Leading Inspired Cancer Care.
This theme reflects the speed at which cancer care is changing and the integration of new technologies, while most importantly ensuring that the patient remains at the centre of all we do.
Plenary sessions will explore, the latest in immunotherapy; what the future in digital and advanced health services might hold including the use of Artificial Intelligence; deep machine learning and robotics; ensuring access to care for all patients through the use of telehealth in delivering clinical trials; and improving patient outcomes through focusing on prehabilitation programs.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!
