Queen Victoria Market

The Queen Victoria Market is less than one kilometre from Peter Mac. It has operated since 1878 and is one of Melbourne’s most lively landmarks. Spread over two city blocks, you can shop there for anything and everything – fruits, vegetables, meats and local and imported foods, as well as clothing and souvenirs.

Melbourne Zoo

Melbourne Zoo is located approximately two kilometres from Peter Mac. This world-class zoo is home to more than 300 animal species from Australia and around the world.

Getting to Melbourne Zoo from Peter Mac is easy. Simply catch tram 58 from stop number 14 in Grattan Street to Melbourne Zoo – stop number 25 in Royal Park.

Eureka Skydeck 88 – created to reach for the sky

Located in the CBD adjacent to the Yarra River at the top of the Eureka Tower, Skydeck 88 is a whole new way of looking at Melbourne.

High up on the 88th floor, 285 metres above sea level, you’ll find Eureka Skydeck Melbourne’s greatest point of view, and one of the most stunning observation decks in the world.

Melbourne Star observation wheel

The Melbourne Star observation wheel is only one of four giant observation wheels in the world.

At 120 metres tall, it is the height of a 40-storey building. Turning slowly, it allows you to take in 360-degree views of Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay and the surrounding area.
