Cancer and its treatments can be very stressful for patients, families, carers and friends. This can impact on your emotions, sleep, concentration, and enjoyment of life.
Facilitated by Peter Mac psychologist Brindha Pillay, Time Out is a 4 session group program that will help you reduce stress and improve your mood and overall wellbeing.
You will learn:
- Causes of stress and how it impacts on you and those around you
Relaxation and mindfulness techniques to help you participate in life more fully
Tips for better communication
Tools to build resilience to better manage stress
The sessions are free and participants are encouraged to attend as many as possible.
