POSTPONED: One-on-one with a cancer researcher

With the return of COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings late last night, we have made the decision to cancel today’s events. This applies to both the 10am and 2pm sessions of One-on-one with a cancer researcher today. Please accept our apologies for the short notice, as we all continue to be flexible to keep our community safe.

This is your chance to chat to Peter Mac researchers about the work they do - live and one-on-one.

At this speed-meet event on World Cancer Day you'll get five minutes with a range of cancer researchers to find out more about their work which is leading to better treatments and improved outcomes for Australians affected by cancer.

*What do we know about how cancer works? What are we still figuring out?
*How are cancer researchers finding new ways to beat cancer?
*What’s it like being a cancer researcher?
*And any other research questions you may have.

There are two sessions 10-11 and 2-3. Both have limited tickets so please book now to secure your place.

Please note: Our researchers are keen to share their research projects with you, but they are unable to answer questions about personal medical issues or provide health advice.
