7th Victorian Cancer Survivorship Research Forum

The Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (ACSC) together with Victorian Cancer Agency (VCA) invite you to join the virtual 7th Victorian Cancer Survivorship Research Forum on Thursday, 9 June 2022.

This free forum is an opportunity for Victorian-based healthcare professionals, researchers and organisations to hear about the excellent work that is underway by interstate experts and fellow Victorians working in cancer survivorship.

This webinar, facilitated by Nicole Kinnane (ACSC),​​​​​​ will feature presentations from the following experts:

  • Dr Dayna Swiatek (VCA) - Announcement of 2022 funding round and the Victorian Cancer Agency (VCA) statement on consumer engagement
  • Dr Camille Short (University of Melbourne) - How I wrote a successful VCA grant application that was highly regarded by the scientific evaluation panel
  • Mr George Kiossoglou (VCA Consumer Evaluation Panel Member) - How to ensure strong consumer input in your research design and application
  • Dr Lara Edbrooke (University of Melbourne) - Lung Cancer Rehabilitation: standardising evaluation and co-designing a program for people during immunotherapy. The UNITE study. VCA Early Career Research Fellowships (Non-Biomedical Stream)
  • Ms Tegan Nash (ACSC) - Victorian baseline survivorship dataset from the Embed and spread optimal cancer survivorship care across Victoria project 2020 – 2022

A facilitated group discussion will be led by Prof Michael Jefford (ACSC).
