Peter Mac has a dedicated HMO Manager who coordinates and warmly welcomes 25 HMOs on secondment every 10-13 weeks from the Royal Melbourne Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne.
Our long term, well-established program for these rotating doctors, ensures the best experience is provided during the rotation to these Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) accredited roles.

Peter Mac has a very strong cohort of 76 Registrars – 68 of which are directly appointed in a true merit listed process in conjunction with the Clinical Directors, clinical supervisors and the Medical Workforce Unit. A further 8 Registrars are rotated from our parent hospitals – Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and the Skin and Cancer Foundation.
