Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre has resolved to provide leadership and excel as a premier cancer centre among the global comprehensive cancer centres in the effort to end cancer.
Peter Mac has created Signature Centres in areas of strategic priority for the organisation. These centres are highly ambitious, innovative and transformational.
The foundation for creating the centres is our desire to gain results in these new and emerging areas, which will have a clear set of objectives.
The Signature Centres reflect the interdependent nature of care, research, education and prevention, and will operate as a coordinated and multidisciplinary team.
In addition, new government structures will be put in place to providing additional support.
