The Department of Nursing Education offers specialised education and training for Registered Nurses (Divisions 1 & 2) wishing to increase their knowledge and skills in the practice of oncology nursing. Continuing Education responsive to the needs of individual nurses and those of the organisation is the cornerstone of evidence based, high quality patient care. The Nursing Education department demonstrates its commitment to this essential activity through the provision of an extensive Continuing Education and competency assessment program and undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and nurse visitor programs. |

Peter Mac offers 2nd & 3rd year nursing clinical placements to a number of Victorian Universities who have students completing an undergraduate qualification. Positions are available for clinical experience in both ambulatory and in-patient areas.
