| The Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (ACSC) is based at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) in Melbourne, Victoria. The Centre is focused on improving health outcomes for cancer survivors at Peter Mac, within Victoria and further afield. |
Aims |
Direct support for cancer survivors |
| We are creating a network of care and support for Australian cancer survivors. Our website has been developed to provide accessible, relevant, reliable, up-to-date and evidence-based information and resources about all aspects cancer survivorship. |
Indirect support for cancer survivors |
| In partnership with the Victorian Department of Health we will promote improvements in survivorship care. We will provide ongoing support to the Victorian Integrated Cancer Services (ICS) to deliver the Victorian Cancer Survivorship Program (VCSP). Our efforts are directed at: |

Governance |
| A Steering Committee has been established to oversee the establishment of the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre, provide guidance on the strategic direction and to ensure achievement of project milestones for the Centre. The Chairperson of the Steering Committee is Professor Richard Larkins AO. The Steering Committee also has representatives from the funding bodies, people affected by cancer, health professionals and other key representatives. |
