| The uro-oncology service is a multi-disciplinary clinical unit offering treatment for all forms of uro-oncology malignancies. Our unit offers tertiary care including all forms of surgical management, radiation oncology techniques and systemic therapy. We have links to co-operative research groups and laboratory based research. Our unit also is involved in a number of supportive care programs and patients are offered co-ordinated care. | ||||||

| The multi-disciplinary Uro-Oncology team consists of Urological Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Specialised Nurses, Radiation Therapists, Physicists, Diagnostic Radiologists, and Specialist Uro Pathologist. Within this section of the website, you will find useful information on cancers of the urological system including – treatments (surgery, radiation therapy, medical). If you have any of the symptoms of urological cancer, it’s important that you see your doctor as soon as possible. Of course, most symptoms have several possible causes and only a medical examination can determine if the actual cause is cancer or another condition. | ||||||
