Uro Oncology Service - Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Prostate Cancer

The Uro Oncology Service is a tertiary multidisciplinary service treating the whole range of urological malignancies. Our service provides comprehensive care, ranging from diagnosis, management and treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and rarer urological malignancies.

The multidisciplinary Uro oncology team consists of Urological Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Specialised Nurses, Radiation Therapists, Physicists, Diagnostic Radiologists, and Specialist Uro Pathologist.

Within this section of the website, you will find useful information on cancers of the urological system including – treatments (surgery, radiation therapy, medical).

If you have any of the symptoms of urological cancer, it’s important that you see your doctor as soon as possible. Of course, most symptoms have several possible causes and only a medical examination can determine if the actual cause is cancer or another condition.
