Peter Mac has a world-renowned faculty that includes the recipients of nine senior NHMRC fellowships, eight national clinical and research fellowship awards, and 13 NHMRC career development and postdoctoral awards.

Our researchers have been recognised for their excellence in research with national and international awards, including the 2009 Glaxo Smith Kline Award for Excellence (Joseph Trapani and Mark Smyth), two of the 2009 NHMRC '10 of the Best' researchers (David Thomas, Roger Martin), 2009 recognition for his international contribution to cancer research (David Bowtell), the 2008 NHMRC Award for Excellence in Health and Medical Research (Joseph Trapani), and the 2007 Charles Rodolphe Brupbacher Prize for Cancer Research (Mark Smyth).
