Nursing Education - Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre


Peter Mac offers specialised education and training for internal and external nursing staff, both Division 1 and Enrolled Nurses, through a wide-range of courses, workshops and competency based learning packages.

The Education and Training and Professional Development team comprises a coordinator for the Graduate Nurse, Short Course, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate (Cancer Nursing) programs, in addition to a Clinical Nurse Educator. The team works closely with ward/unit based staff that, in part, hold a professional development portfolio such as a Clinical Nurse Educator (ICU and Operating Theatre) or Practice Development Nurse(inpatient wards, and ambulatory care).
