| If you would like to provide feedback on any aspect of Peter Mac, please let us know via our "Tell us what you think" brochure. The brochure contains a questionaire that any patient, relative, carer, friend or member of the community can fill out. You can remain anonymous if you chose. The brochure can be picked up at any of the Peter Mac sites and can either be dropped back or posted to us. Alternatively, you can download a copy from the link above. | ||
If you are unhappy with your care or treatment | ||
| If you have a complaint or concern regarding the care or treatment you received at Peter Mac, this can usually be resolved immediately with the staff member concerned. You can discuss with them any action you would like to be taken. Please let a member of your treating team know if you are unhappy with something. Often a quick chat can resolve any misunderstanding or a resolution can be found. If you would like further assistance with your complaint or concern you can contact our Consumer Engagement Coordinator. What can you do if you are still not happy or do not wish to speak to anyone in the hospital? | ||
| The Health Service Commission is an independent agency which was established to receive and resolve complaints regarding health service providers. You can contact the Health Service Commission on 03 8601 5222 or 1800 136 066. The brochure “Public Hospital Patient Charter – Respect” is available and outlines your rights and responsibilities whilst a patient of Peter Mac. This information is available in 16 languages. | ||
