The Breast Service at Peter Mac provides a sophisticated comprehensive diagnostic and assessment service for patients with any type of breast disease (cancerous and non cancerous) leading to a personalised integrated multidisciplinary treatment program delivered in a caring and supportive environment.

The service provides multidisciplinary consultation and care for up to 1,000 patients each year. Patients receive care from within the disciplines of surgery, radiation oncology and medical oncology in association with specialist breast nurse coordinators, psychological services, social workers, palliative care services and specialist breast pathologists and radiologists. The Breast Service also has a major commitment to research at all phases of the patient’s journey with breast cancer.
